The Solarii and the Sentries Through the Centuries
Hosted at Casa Ki in Tulum, this exhibition presents The Solarii and the Sentries through the Centuries, a lineage of imagined beings emerging from the jungle’s memory—forms that feel ancient yet newly arrived. Carved in wood and shaped by time, the Solarii appear as sun-oriented figures devoted to light, transformation, and cyclical renewal, while the Sentries exist as watchful guardians, positioned between worlds. Together, these works trace a speculative history that spans centuries, blurring past, present, and future. Rooted in natural material and ritual presence, the exhibition invites viewers into a mythic continuum where protection, illumination, and evolution are held in quiet balance. This exhibition is on view through February 10, 2026.
